"The Possession" Premiere

My spouse and I went to "The Possession" premiere for Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Kyra Sedgwick.  The setup for the graphers was terrible as we could not see the red carpet arrivals.  A few guests of the movie arrived first and signed but I did not have photos for them or neither cared to try and get them.

Kyra Sedgwick was then spotted and she came to my right first.

She started going away from me but then came to me and I was able to get one photo signed; while my spouse was able to get two photos signed while standing next to me.  I kept trying to ask or put my last photo in front of her to sign, but she was moving around and decided to go to my far right.  I then left my spot to try to get her near the end but she signed for a few around me and then stopped.  As a result:  three out of four photos (not too shabby).

Jeffrey Dean Morgan was the last person to sign at arrivals.  He also came to the section to my right and stood in one spot signing for less than a minute!

 He promised that he'll come back to sign..  My spouse and I couldn't get anything done until he came back after a while and we were able to get eight photos done plus an index card signed!

He literally told us that he "..could [sign] do this all day.. " with a smile plastered on his face.  What a great guy who goes out of his way and sign for his fans/collectors!

Robert (Rob) Pattinson - Twilight Mania! Jamie Foxx, too!

We went for Robert Pattinson's tv show appearance last week and it was a frenzy! At first, there was a single file line and as it got closer to show time, the lines were shifted to either stand over at one side or the other.  My spouse and I chose the least crowded of the two and we chose the right side, as Robert Pattinson only came over to sign for one side!

As he came out of the TV studio, we walked swiftly over to our side and signed against the fence, skipping here, signing there, skipping there..

 He finally made it over to us and we were fortunate enough to get three signed photos done:

We had three more photos for him but because we didn't move around in our spots, we only were able to get three done.  Our 8x10 photo was the second to the last photo or the last photo that he signed for.  My friend standing to my right, could not get any of his photos done as he was signing too quickly.

Jamie Foxx was also the guest that night as well.  We got him signing in his car.  We were able to get three photos signed.

 

Jean-Claude Van Damme Autograph Signing

Since, Jean-Claude Van Damme skipped our posters and other photos that we had at the "Expendables 2" premiere, we decided to use the unsigned photos for Van Damme's TV appearance today. We didn't have high expectation as there was a huge turnout for Van Damme. I guess we weren't the only ones missing his autograph.. We brought our 12x18 "Expendables 2" poster photo already signed by 4 cast members (Stratum, Lundgren, Crews, & Norris), but couldn't get the it signed... because he signed these!!:

Jennifer Garner, Lady in Red, Signing Autographs Again!!

My spouse and I are truly a Jennifer Garner fan.  We both love her in "Daredevil" and I can watch "13 going on 30" over and over again! After the "Odd Life of Timothy Green" premiere, we thought she would be too tired to sign again in the same week but, boy..were we wrong!

We called her over and she walked straight to me and I was able to get two of my photos done on the spot.

She then proceeded to walk to my right so my spouse couldn't get his photos done. However, the person she was with told us that "she'll be right back.." We waited patiently and within seconds, she came back and we were able to get 2 more photos signed.

I was able to get an "Elektra" photo done and these:

She then signed to the section over to our left and it was getting too crazy that she said "okay guys..I always stop when it gets like this.." However, she signed a few more and then she was done! I yelled "thank you" (Like I usually do.."

Ashley Greene Signing & Taking Pictures!!

My spouse and I have decided to give Ashley Greene a shot.  We heard that she wasn't very "nice." But, we had nothing better to do so we went to the event.

We brought six photos were her to sign just in case she chooses to walk over and sign away(which she did!) and we were able to get everything done as she was patient and nice to her fans/ collectors. 

As she walking down towards us, her publicist said "Okay, one each." Ashley started where I was and I was able to get two of my 8x10 photos done first in blue.

Then she signed my spouse's two 11x14 photos. One was with a blue sharpie; she then switched to a black sharpie and signed by spouse's "Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1" poster (already signed by Taylor Lautner):

We still had two photos left and noticed that she was still signing so we held out the photos and she signed them both with a black sharpie. The very last one, she gave an "A G ," rather than an "A Green" She did them all and we were very happy. People were asking for photos and her publicist said "after she signs."

Kelsey Grammer Signing Autographs!

My spouse and I decided to obtain Kelsey Grammer's autograph. He was doing an appearance at a talk show and we only had to wait 10 minutes before seeing Kelsey.  I had a good feeling going into this event because a few months ago we met Kelsey; he was a humble person and took his time with every single person.

It wasn't crowded, therefore, my spouse and I were able to get every photo done:

 As Kelsey was signing the photos for us, he made a comment on 2 of the X-Men photos of him as "BEAST", saying that he "liked it," or "this looks good.." etc. He was very amused with our photo choices!

"Expendables 2" Premiere--Sylvester, Terry, Jason, Dolph, & Chuck!!

My spouse and I were not really looking forward to this event because we feared that all of the cast members would come over to sign at once.  However, that was not the case at all. 
We really wanted Sylvester, Arnold, Jason, & Bruce's autograph...We were able to get Sylvester, Jason Stratum, Chuck Norris, Terry Crews, & Dolph Lundgren.

The first to arrive & sign was Nikolette Noel.  We didn't have anything printed for her other than "Expendables 2" poster photos (3 of them).  She started signing to my section FAR right and moved to her left, away from me.  Then we thought she was finished as she was walking towards the red carpet.  Our section called her over to the other side and she came back to sign and moved to her right.  She was appoaching us but we were still ways away from obtaining her autograph. 

The next cast member to arrive and sign was Charisma Carpenter.  Once again, we didn't have any solo shots for her to sign.  She didn't sign as much as Nikolette did.

Terry Crews then arrived and came to sign and posed for pictures.  We knew he was going to be a "hit or miss" and we were right.  He started to sign consecutively (while handing back pens as he was moving towards our section) and then took pictures with those who asked.  He then decided to wave to the fans and was jumping up trying to get the crowd pumped up.  After a short while he did picked up the marker again to sign a few skipped a section sign one here or two there.  When he approached our section, though, he signed about 3 autographs (I couldn't even get one even though my 1 8x10 photo was right next to another photo in which he was signing for!!) My spouse was lucky enough to get him on our 12x18 poster photo (for various cast members to sign)  He used a crappy blue sharpie and his autograph was the first one we got on that photo. 

Dolph Lundgren was super nice as he was taking his time to sign for autographs and posed for pictures.  As he was approaching our section, I noticed that he would take photos and signed it at the side.  That was so thoughtful of him because by doing this it prevents graphs from getting smeared as well as he has more control of who he is signing for.  I was able to get two 8x10 photos done while my spouse only was able to get him on the cast 12x18 poster.

The next person to arrive was Sylvester Stallone.  He was taking his time and mainly was signing the first row.  We then noticed a vehicle coming to our left and it was Arnold Schwarzenegger.  He came to my very far right and started moving a way from us.  He then decided to cross the street to a touristy part of the street and sign a few there.  He then decided to walk to the red carpet.  Oh, well.
Jason Stratum came over and was signing and posing for photos. During Sylvester's and Jason's autograph session, Chuck Norris, arrived and, surprisingly started to sign.  We heard that he doesn't sign, so we had nothing for him other than to get him on the poster photos.  Chuck was to our right while Sylvester was signing but stopped to give Chuck a handshake and a hug.  Chuck was the first to hit us.  He gave a very nice graph on two of our 12x18 "Expendables 2" poster photos.  One in which was only a single signed autograph from Chuck.

Next person to approach our section was Sylvester.  He gave me a very nice autograph (with blue at first) on my 11x14 scene shot of "Expendables 2" but when he signed my spouse's "Rambo" photo, he gave us something extra. The 2 signatures are different from what he gave post people at this event. We couldn't get him on any of our 3 poster photos. 

So, we waited patiently.  Rarely do celebrities sign on the way to the red carpet; but Sylvester did a few! I was able to get him on 1 of the 3 poster photos we had. He did one of the 11x14 poster in a black sharpie as he already had one in his hands.  He still gave me a decent graph (smaller but still better than others during this particular event).

 After Sylvester, we finally were able to get a better glimpse of Jason Stratum.  Surprisingly he was moving down the line.  I had a transporter photo for him to sign but he didn't like it as he skipped mine to sign my spouse's "crank" photo.  I then decided to reach as far as I could with one of the posters but he was already far to my left.  I then handed my poster to an acquintance but he couldn't get him to sign it either.  Since, we only had 1 Jason Stratum, I decided to leave my spot.  It was at least 5-6 rows deep, that it took me to 3 different sections to get his autograph on the cast poster.  (I had a little help with extending it out to him, I admit).  Thank you to the person who helped me reach further!!

I thought that the after party was near the event, but when we inside the venue and saw that nothing was set up, we decided to call it a night!

David Duchovny (X-Files) Meet & Greet with Fans!

Because of my two failed events today, I was hoping to end the night well.  Everyone was waiting around in the shade, and by the time David Duchovny arrived, it was too late.  He rushed inside and we had to wait around for a few more hours.

The good news was that David came over to us and signed. The bad news was that he was doing one autograph per person.

I had four photos for him to sign and my spouse and I each had two in our hands but he only did one each. It was a good thing I asked a friend to get a photo signed for me earlier. We were able to get three of the four photos signed.

Only a few lucky fans were able to get a photo op with David. My spouse asked David for picture, and at first it appeared he wasn't going to do it; but he looked back and I was able to take a shot. After he was finished signing, a few fans tried asking for more autographs and for photo op, but he just walked away and gave handshakes or either waved goodbye. Thanks, David!
