While waiting for “The Words” premiere to start, a few of us notice Jane Lynch and her family walking by. One fan was fortunate enough to get her autograph even though Jane was hesitant to sign. She then posed with about 4-5 fans. A few hours later, she walked by again only this time, she said “NO” for autographs and was walking back to her car briskly. We heard she wasn’t a good signer to begin with so we didn’t bother.
Ian Gomez was the first guest to arrive and sign for awaiting fans. We didn’t have anything for him but my spouse got a photo op.
Charlotte Ross was the next guest to come over to sign; we had nothing for her.
Disney’s “Jessie, Debby Ryan, was the next guest to sign and posed for pictures. She was moving fast and we were only able to get one photo signed. My spouse wanted a picture with her and she said “okay” but left a few seconds after later because her publicist rushed her inside the theatre.
We saw James Van Der Beek walking by us and we called him over to sign, but he told us he’ll come back. He wanted to pose for media first. Just as promised, he came over to our area to sign two photos for us.
Jeremy Irons was the next cast member to sign and he started to our left side and stayed there for quite some time. By the time he reached over to our section, he was rushing to get inside. We had two 8x10 photos out and our 12x18 poster, he chose the poster.
Then, Bradley Cooper came over to sign. He signed all of our photos without any hesitation. My spouse asked for a picture and he said “sure.” Then, he said “Thank You.” What a nice guy! He signed our poster and these:
Right after Bradley Cooper, Dennis Quaid came over and signed. He signed the poster and a photo for us (which smeared; this is the second time he smeared his autograph *sighs*).
We had five photos for Zoe Saldana to sign but she made a quick appearance in the fan pit area and signed about six photos total. We’ve met her before, so it wasn’t a big deal.
The person that signed the most was Ben Barnes. We were able to get three photos signed and both of us got a picture with him.
After the movie ended, we spotted Jeremy Irons leaving. My spouse asked him for an autograph, while he was lighting up for a smoke. He then picked up the marker and signed for a photo. I, and two other collectors then asked, but Jeremy, blew us off and said “no..no.. I’m not signing.” One of the graphers gave up, while I decided to ask while holding my marker out. I said “Jeremy, one more please?” He glanced over and signed for me. The other grapher was next to me, and he didn’t like her photo for he told her, “I don’t like that picture; I don’t sign that.”
That was the end for “The Words” premiere.
